FAQ's


  • Do you have Wifi?

    Yes. We have WiFi that covers most of the campground. The password is Wildwood (capital W).

  • What time is Check-in and Check out

    Check-in is 3 PM, and check-out is 2 PM.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Yes. We do have a pet fee of $6.00 per pet per stay, and you are responsible for the clean-up & noise level of your pet. Your pet must be on a leash at all times & not left by itself at the campground. We have a 3-pet maximum. 


  • Can I have a specific site for my stay?

    You will select your site when you make your reservation, but we do reserve the right to place you on a different site if necessary. You will have the option of locking your location for $10 in order  to ensure you stay on your specific site. 

  • Can I bring in my own firewood?

    No, the DNR does not allow firewood to be brought into the campsite to prevent the spreading of disease. We do sell firewood in the General Store.

  • Is there ice available for purchase?

    Yes, we sell 10lb bags of ice in the General Store.

  • Can I get a refund for my stay if I do not like my site or go home because of rain?

    There are no refunds for rain, or if you choose to go home early.  



  • What if I only want to stay for one night on a weekend?

    From Memorial to the 2nd weekend in September, we require a 2 night stay on the weekends. The other exception is walk-in camping. If you arrive the same day, you can stay for one night.

  • Do you know of any websites that can help me find campgrounds throughout the United States

    Yes, we have found Camping USA to be informative. The website is: www.camping-usa.com.

  • Is there a bike or hiking trail near by?

    Yes, the Swedish Immigrant Trail can be accessed from the north end of the campground. Click here to learn more about it.

  • What is your cancellation policy for daily camping and monthly camping?

    Daily Camping: There is no refund with less than a 7-day notice. There is a $35.00 service charge per canceled RESERVATION when you request your money back and there is at least a 7-day notice.  You can reschedule with no penalty UP TO THE DAY OF YOUR RESERVATION OR RECEIVE A GIFT CERTIFICATE for a future reservation for the full dollar amount of your deposit. 


    Monthly Camping: There is no refund with less than a 30-day notice. There is a $100 service charge for all cancellations. 

  • Are generators allowed?

    At this time generators of any type are not allowed.

  • Do you offer any discounts?

    Military and Law Enforcement receive a discount-of  $5.00  on 1 campsite per night with a valid Military ID. Also, we are no longer a Good Sam Park, but will honor the 10% off 1 site per membership  on anyone with a Good Sam Membership Card (Sunday-Thursday night only- NON Holidays) 



  • In case of inclement weather, where should we go?

    Our Restrooms/Showers are our storm shelters as well as the Taylors Falls City Hall, located at 637 First Street (Cty Rd 37)
